I just got the annual flyer from the local shop where I buy pellets. Through the end of July, Barefoot pellets are $205/ton, Hearthside are $210, and Dry Creek are $225. I have a Breckwell PS-23 which I use for supplemental heat in the kitchen.. I go though about 2 tons in a season. I've only run Dry Creek and Allegheny, and Dry Creek seems to work the best for me.
Does anyone have experience with either Barefoot or Hearthside? I'm not familiar with either of them. I do know that Hearthside is made about 45 minutes from here. I'm inclined to try some Hearthside pellets.. they're 'local', but I don't know anyone who has used them.
