I have the 207 shown here: https://www.hearth.com/econtent/index.php/wiki/History_of_Upland_Stove_Company/
Except on mine, the oval shaped flue opening is on the back of the stove instead of the top. The manual I linked to says that the stove is designed for a 7" stovepipe, and that the piece that connects to the stove needs to be 'ovalized'. So my first question is, do I need to get 7" pipe? Or will 6 or 8 work adequately? Also, what do I do for that oval opening? Buy a special fitting? Or 'smush' a piece of 7" pipe myself to fit?
I'm not heating my home with this, just occasionally warming up my workshop. I want it to be safe, and burn good, but it doesn't have to be perfect. All in all this seems like a pretty neat stove.
