I just picked up a 1/2 ton of Heat LLC pellets in Ft. Smith Ar. 3.99 a bag. No clinkers and very little ash. Their site states the pellets have BTU - 8600
Fines - less than 1/2% and Moisture - 5.1%. Last year I was burning Rocky Mountain pellets but can't get them here this year. I have noticed I do have to turn the feed rate up 2 points at low burn ( heat setting 1, fuel 7 air 1) to keep a fire compaired to the Rocky's.
