I Googled Heilsa and found nothing, except the crappy tire item. They LOOK nice, and the price is fair, but where the heck are these made I wonder? I'm sticking with my Englander, for several reasons, but who's the new player?

Hmmm.....the name is similar to a high end model, the Hestia (or something like that)....but these are not the same company.

This looks like something from a large company which may be private labeling it - like Lennox (it looks a bit like Whitfield small model), etc.

There were a lot of companies that increased production and capacity in the boom last year - and even some new ones that started. That would seem to lead to some over supply and price drops - you would never have seen a stove comparable to that one for $1200 last year!

I bought one at Canadian Tire in September. 1299.00 It looks nice. Works fine too, but I have never owned a pellet stove before to compare it to. It is a smaller unit @ 28,000 btu. No air wash for glass. Glass blackens in one day of running. No damper controls either. Made in China. Seems decent quality though. One auger. Controls are: 3 speeds for heat output fan. 3 speeds for auger feed. Hopper holds one 40 lbs bag. No thermostat.

I looked at it but went for the Timber ridge ,Englander ,because they didn't show a high low btu rating . Also I am installing in my garage and have to protect the glass .
It would have been a lot harder to do with that one .
