I am incorporating a small steam room into our remodel, essentially an over sized shower room. Any ideas on the best strategy for producing the steam? I am thinking that putting in one of the larger Superstor or equivalent tanks and keeping it near max temp would be the cheapest/simplest given that I am going that route for dhw anyway.

For as little as it will get used, it seems a big dhw tank kept near max temp with a propane fired unit to generate the steam is the right way to go. As long as the DHW tank is hot, the propane consumption shouldn't be too bad.
