I have been looking and so far I can not find some parts, namely handles, for my Ashley fireplace insert. My insert has the two cast iron doors and the left handle is fixed and the right one turns. What I am looking for is either the wood or brass end that go on the handles to keep you from burning your hands when you open the door. It was like this when I bought the house. In the past I have had to use a pot holder just to open the doors.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated!

I can send pictures if needed.

on the 1/4 and 1/2 , I am assuming that is the diameter of the part that fits into the handle?

Is this it.....AC-SHN Nickel Spring Handle (1 lb. each)
$3.64 ...........and this will fit my Ashley Insert?

That is the size of the rod that you are putting the handle onto.
