my son got some large logs used for pilings called green heart. these have never been in water. i split them along with some oak and they are way heavier than the oak, split about like oak . they were pretty dry so i threw a split in the stove and it burst into flames fast and burned twice as long as oak, what is this green heart
 
It's a tropical hardwood, like teak. I think it might be one of those woods you should wear a mask if sawing, FWIW.
