how hot can i burn my jotul 3cb. I read no more than 600 on a stove top. I have a stove top thermometer and i have got it past 600 a couple of times and 700 once will this damage the stove. I keep it around 400 to 600 but it would be nice around 650 or 700 on cold days.

Between six and six fifty is the hottest I burn my F3 CB. I am fond of 500. I don't want any stove of mine burning over seven hundred on purpose. And with the F3 over six hundred ya just as well stand there and constantly feed the little sucker.
