Hot Micore-Elk are you out there?

You reassured me the other day about the Micore 300 I am using but..............
The double wall pipe does not touch it, about 1" from it, and the micore is warm, really warm. Is this REALLY fine? Everyone I talk to says it is fine but it doesn't seem normal to have something that hot running up the wall. My new stove seems to be doing great by the way! Thanks for your help.
