I am looking to install a wood fired forced air furnace and claim the 2023 tax credit. I understand the tax credit is offered for stoves with 75% or better efficency according to this site https://www.energystar.gov/about/federal_tax_credits/biomass_stoves

This site lists all the units and their efficiency ratings. https://cfpub.epa.gov/oarweb/woodstove/index.cfm?fuseaction=app.searchResultsWH

If I am reading the information correctly, these are the only manufacturers that have units of that type that qualify. Is that true?

Stove Builder International, Inc.
LS Bilodeau Inc.
Lamppa Manufacturing, Inc.

Am I interpreting the information correctly?

I don’t know anything about the units manufactured by LS Bilodeau Inc. or if they are even available in the states, but yes you are correct.

The efficiency requirement is >75% Higher Heating Value (HHV)

Same here, never heard of LSB.
I can say this, you'll be hard pressed to find an unhappy Kuuma owner!
There were a couple threads from a few years back where new Kuuma owners were not happy...one sold his, then came back a year later and admitted that was a real screw up, and the other still has his, but now admits that his heat load is much greater than he realized prior to owning the Kuuma. Those are the only two ways you won't love one, your setup is bad, or your heat load is just huge!
Other than that...just thousands of happy Kuuma owners out there...
