Hey everyone,
I just purchased a house that had a pellet stove installed back in 2011. I was told by the previous owner that the stove had probably not been used in over a decade. I had a service tech get the unit working. It worked for 2 days then stopped feeding pellets. I would plug in the stove, the blower would start, the call light would be on & the auger would not be turning while making a loud buzzing noise, thus not feeding any pellets. The ignitor gets hot. I called the service tech back. He made an adjustment to the hopper lid sensor. The stove worked again but after 2 days, I am running into the same issue.
Things I have checked:
-removed auger to check for jams. None found.
-took off vacuum switch and hose to look for blockage. None found.
My next steps are to order a new auger motor based on the buzzing noise it is making.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated!
