I've been trying to help a buddy that is partially blind figure out why is stove won't run on auto, only manual. I replaced the door seal, circuit board and still nothing. Then he tells me that the last time it ran on auto is before he cleaned it. He said he take the obvious parts out, vacuums, but then he told me, he used a wire brush around and down the exhaust. Is it possible he snapped out the ESP? And if so, would that make it not run on auto? Anything else he may have knocked off or broke? Any help in tracking down the issue would be great.

It might…normally not able to run in auto means the igniter is bad…does it get warm at all on the burn pot when it’s trying to ignite?

He replaced the igniter already. It didn't fix the issue. He tested it my owm'ing it. He figured since the wires are so small, they wouldn't handle 110v to test.

Ok but does it get warm on the burnpot after attempting start up?

Is the stove an Advantage or Advance. If it’s an Advance there should be a dial with test mode. With the stove off, what happens if you put it in test mode. The combustion blower, distribution blower, feeder and ignitor should all cycle on and the inidcator lights come on. If its an Advantage i dont have any info on it.
