Are any of those prices from Hamshaw Lumber? Interesting that my local Aubuchons is showing the same price per ton for the Okies here in the triangle of doom (30 miles from any decent sized city).

I just paid 389 for Okanogan at Aubachons in Greenfield. They had Green Supreme for 329
Have you tried out the Okanogans yet? Any opinion compared to other pellets you've used as far as heat output and ash?

$349 for Green Supreme Home depot Danvers MA . I'm not sure if its worthwhile to burn pellets at this price. I'll have to check out the calculator vs running our mini splits

Be careful how you read that - it is "up to" 8,400 btu. So it could be 8,100 btu on average.

Not saying not to try them, just I would go into it not having high expectations.

Ton I tried 2 years ago were nothing to write home about. Decent heat, but kinda dirty ash. Don't come close to Somersets, which is what I compare all mid level hardwood pellets too.

Sandri Energy in Greenfield - notified some customer's - they are OUT of the pellet business.
I go through 3-4 tons a season. My direct neighbor, also uses the same amount. In the past, we'd buy a FTL (8 pallets), and would get the shipping fees waived. The driver parked on the road between our houses. The caveat is, the business must have a Moffett style fork truck. We both need the pallets placed behind the houses, by our respective bulkheads.

I bought a ton of pellets from Sandri late last spring and the pellets are mediocre compared to the Woods and Sons pellets I was getting down in Whatley. Admittedly more expensive but imo well worth the difference in price.

If I wasn't already sitting on a bit over 6 tons, with the basement stuffed and the garage as full as I want it to be, that would be tempting for the Cubex since my stoves love that stuff (and so do I). Of course delivery charge to my place would be pretty high, and I don't have room, so I'll have to pass.

Fusion Blend (Lauzon - so a flavor of Cubex) that I got off of FBM in 2021 were some of the hottest I've ever burned. They did leave an odd ash, but that might have been an oddity for that particular batch.

NEWPs should be cheaper for what they are. Not that I've burned any NEWPs in the last several years, despite the plant being only 17-20 miles from me, so they could be better than they used to be.
