Crane was located in Braintree, Ma and made coal stoves from the late 1970's through the mid-1980's. As with most coal stove companies of the time, it fell on hard times when heating oil and other fuels plunged in price and were available cheaper than Anthracite Coal.
Among the Crane models are the Model 44, the Model 202 and the Model 404.
