Perhaps it’s a naive question but why is there no door as part of this new stove?

Could be a good deal and worth checking further into if you are looking for this stove.

Sometimes the door is sold/purchase separate sometimes you have the choice of doors trim etc. For the string at the cat looks like it is new for sure.

The door would have been in a separate box. Any chance they have the door somewhere? Did they say it was missing? Or is it just missing in the picture?

Hell yea that’s a deal, that’s 1/2 price, even without the door !!

I mean;;;;; No way, that thing is junk, run away now !!

What’s the guys phone # ??

Send me picture PM) of label on back and I can get history for you....

Trying to imagine how this new stove on a pallet ended up on the used market after years. Was it stolen? Bankrupt retailer? Maybe just an unfinished project but a guy spending this much money for a new king would have gotten the door too. Mysterious.

Maybe he bought it and his wife said you aren't putting that ugly thing in my house lol.

Just kidding it is certainly a bit odd.

With a new door, what can i get out of this stove as a flip?
I sold my 1 year old king ultra with blowers for $2K, there’s not much meat left on the bone here for a flip. It’s a Good deal if you plan on using it though.

I’d buy it if I were in the market and ready to install. I personally bought a used stove dirt cheap and had to install a new door, gaskets, bricks, and all the pipe, and still came out ahead of if I bought new.

What I see in the picture looks solid, new, and worth what they are asking (though personally I’d probably only buy the stove, and knock the price down a bit more. The pipe and cap are not that expensive to buy.

Yes. they bought brand it new in 2012 down in the sellers area. I did offer 1000, they went down to 1250 but that door is still almost $500. I haven't done much more since Im so busy with cleaning out/ selling dads items from his estate. I don't even know if I want it at 1000 now. Fespo
