Just wanted to share my project As I finally set the stove in. Bought a used blaze king awhile back and did an alcove install. A few odds and ends to go but here it is. TV cabinets are behind the TV which pulls out for access. Wood storage beneath

We wanted a mantle and we knew wed be storing wood somewhere. It sure confused the inspectors when they came to inspect the framing

Nicely done. That's a handsome installation. The only thing that I would change is to extend the hearth to include the wood storage area. It doesn't need to be as deep, but looks visually inconsistent to me without it. This would also protect the floor from dropped logs.
