I suspect it's the thermopile, but I want a second opinion since the things are over $100 now.

Symptoms:

- pilot light works as expected
- main burner refuses to ignite when the switch is on. It used to work, and got increasingly flakey over the course of a year. For a while I could get it to light by kicking the stove.
- 210 mv between the tp and th-tp terminals when the on-off switch is off
- 200 mv between the tp and th-tp terminals when the on-off switch is on
- jumpering between the th-tp and th terminals does nothing
- resistance between the th-tp and th terminals is approx. 80 ohms with the switch on; approximately 160 ohms with the switch off (which kind of surprised me - shouldn't it be an open circuit with the switch off?)

Opinions? I've read elsewhere that the thermopile should read about 500 mv with the switch off, but the Radiance owner's manual says the minimum acceptable reading is 150 mv.

Definitely SOUNDS like the thermopile... 500 mV - 550mV is a good range engulfed in the pilot..
They will operate lower & I've had em that wouldn't go over 475...
IIRC, in order to get a good amperage reading, ALL wiring needs to be removed from the gas valve...
