Real nice what type of brackets are you using for the bottom?how long can you make a row that will hold the racks from tipping over. What is the span between your timbers,are they 2x4's ?Nicest simple system I've seen,may copycat ya.

Thanks. 10' wide, 5' tall with 2x4s. About 15-18" deep. (Could be made deeper, taller, and/or wider)
4.5" 5/16" lag bolts connecting top joints.

You have to use pressure treated 2x4s for the bracket kit, as they are slightly larger than regular 2x4's (so that means at least pressure treated for the bottom horizontal and vertical), or else it will not be stable.

One 2x4 in middle at top and bottom. Top 2x4 raises roof in center for drainage of roof

Roof attached with stainless screws and rubber washers with small hole for sealing screws in roof.
Leveled as necessary.

What is the inside span on the bottom two x fours ,15 in to 18 in most of my splits are at 16 in.

@ohlongarm My splits are also about 16". You want the inside span to support your splits with some play room, so the outer dimension should be maybe 14". The brackets can have the horizontal bottom piece inside the vertical support or outside of it. Either way, you want to have both the horizontal and vertical supports narrow enough for your splits. One will obviously be significantly narrower than the other. In the 2 racks I built, I did it one way on one, and the other way on the second, just not paying attention. Both work.
