We installed a woodburning fireplace into a cabin complete with a 16 ft. tall rock wall and mantle. After all the work was completed we fired up the unit and it doesnt produce the heat we or the customer expected. This unit is a "new and improved" model of a fireplace that we have previously sold and had great results. I have spend the better part of a months time making the 150 mile round trip to this cabin over the past two years. I have taken the factory reps with me to see the performance and they all agree that its not working right, but the factory just sent me a letter telling me that I was expecting too much from the fireplace and that they "were not designed to produce heat", and that the customer was abusing the fireplace by using it more than 4 hours a day. This customer has been very patient and since I have changed out every part that the manufacturer has suggested I have no other choice but to pull out the fireplace. Here is the kicker, the manufacturer is refusing to give me a replacement unit or take any responsibility for warranty issues. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, John Fuller Teton Fireplace Design, Inc. --=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D_-1224135247=3D=3D_ma=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D Content-Type: text/html; charset=3D"us-ascii" <!doctype html public "-//W3C//DTD W3 HTML//EN"> <html><head><style type=3D"text/css"><!-- blockquote, dl, ul, ol, li { margin-top: 0 ; margin-bottom: 0 } --></style><title>Fireplace without heat</title></head><body> <div><font face=3D"Arial" size=3D"-1">Looking for responses from any experts out there concerning a problem I am having with a high efficiency woodburning fireplace that is not heating sufficiently.
