bailing out of Superior?

(back) Subject: bailing out of Superior? From: "Noel Gilmore" <[email protected]> Date: Thu, 8 Feb 2001 20:43:49 -0500   I have been told (could be true, could be not) that Superior distributors (around south Florida where I am, most everyone is an "installing distributor") are bailing out due to Lennox's new plans for the line (no more installing distributors), the latest price increase, and added costs for half truckload deliveries; also that the Marco name is going to disappear. Anyone in other parts of the world hearing or experiencing any of this?   By the way, if Marco is disappearing, I need to get hold of a bunch of terminations real quick...with our humid weather and salt air, they do not last very long down here and are frequently in need of replacement, and I hate it when I have to tell a customer he's out of luck because I cannot get him a UL listed replacement part. The insulation company which sold = and installed them for years in my area does not, of course, support = customers with parts.   Interested in getting some verification on all this.   Noel Gilmore Autumn Moon Fireplaces Port St Lucie, FL
