Fireplace Products International Ltd., of Delta, BC, Canada (Makers of
Regency)  announced the aquisition of Waterford irish Stoves of Lebanon, NH.
 
This is to take place on Jan 1, 1999. Waterford assembly and operations
will continue to be located in New Hampshire. Patrick Moynihan will stay
with Waterford Irish Stoves by joining FPA as Director of Operations.
 
Both companies intend to leverage their respective strengths in this new
partnership.
