Do your installers usually pull a permit?
If not, do you think any repercussions would come back to us if there is
an installation problem?
A friend of mine who does inspections
for insurance companies says the first thing he does is check if a
proper permit was issued and who signed off on it.
It does seem to be impractical for a gas log installation, however.
I think a direct vent gas fireplace should require one, though.  Any
thoughts?
