HearthStone Quality Home Heating Heating Products Appoints New Sales 
Manager Morrisville, VT. November 8, 2000:
 
HearthStone Quality Home Heating Products Inc., manufacturer of high 
quality cast iron and natural stone stoves, is pleased to announce 
Thierry Guerlain has re-joined the company in the position of 
National Sales and Marketing Manager. Previous to joining 
HearthStone, Thierry was a principal in Guerlain and McVey, LLC 
(GMLLC), a consulting firm specializing in business planning and 
hands-on implementation. Prior to GMLLC, Thierry founded and 
subsequently sold Northern Weather Works LLC, a company that 
continues as a manufacturer of specialty hand-made wooden 
weathervanes. From 1991 to 1996 Thierry was the National Sales and 
Marketing Manager for HearthStone.
 
Thierry will be responsible for developing and implementing the sales 
and marketing programs for HearthStone in North America, managing the 
independent sales force in the U.S. and Canada, and directing the 
sales and marketing staff at the Morrisville, Vermont headquarters. 
Manuel Perez, President of HearthStone says, "We are excited about 
Thierry=92s return to the company. The skills and contacts he brings 
back to HearthStone are an excellent addition to our staff that will 
allow HearthStone to continue our double digit growth."
 
Greg Baldor previously held the National Sales and Marketing Managers 
position. Greg has left the company to pursue personal interests.
