As we can all see by the past few days, an automatic list can have some
downfalls. One is when people leave automatic replies on their computer
when they are away...this keeps bouncing back to the list...forevermore! I
have no choice but to de-subscribe these addresses.
 
Also, everyone should remember that this list is not currently
moderated...which means that all posts are seen by everyone..... so don't
send me email that says: "Hey, Craig, between me and you"..... unless you
send it to me ONLY...
 
reminder then:
 
Mail to [email protected] goes to the list (notice the "chi.hearth.com)
Mail to [email protected] is to me personally.
 
There are quite a few new list members and some new "tenants" on
HearthNet.... In case the "newbies" are not familiar with this list, please
note that we welcome all opinons, facts, gossip rumors and other
communications. These should be presented in a mature fashion such as " I
think this manufacturer practices poor customer service because..." as
opposed to " This guy sucks!"  although if you are really upset we'll
ingest just about anything.
 
We also welcome educational and informative material. All list messages are
archived and will be stored in the private area of HearthNet (the Club
House) for future reference.
