(back) Subject: HEARTH Insurance From: Craig Issod <[email protected]> Date: Wed, 22 Oct 1997 21:43:54 -0500 X-Sender: [email protected] Date: Wed, 22 Oct 1997 17:13:13 -0400 To: [email protected] =46rom: Ben Weathersby <[email protected]> Subject: request for insurance info Mime-Version: 1.0 The HEARTH Education Foundation has been approached by a national insurance underwriter considering offering liability and workman=92s comp policies to hearth products retailers. They have asked us to provide them with policy information from as many retailers as possible so that they can determine whether they can offer competitive rates. We are therefore asking retailers to provide this information: copies of the first 2 or 3 pages of your liability and workman=92s comp policies that have your insurance classification (hearth products retailer, hvac, furniture, or whatever), the amount of coverage, and the premium you pay. You can black out your name and the insurance company name; they are only interested in classifications, coverage, and premium rates. They do not need the fine print and exclusions or the details of coverage. If you are willing to participate=97and to help get better insurance rates for the industry=97please send the policy pages to Bill Corbin: by fax to (317) 469-2613 or by mail to 4610 Citation Boulevard; Indianapolis, IN 46237. (Bill is a member of the HEARTH Board of Directors). The information is needed immediately, so please take a few minutes tomorrow to send your policy information. If you have questions, give HEARTH Executive Director Ben Weathersby a call at (404) 728-0227 or send an e-mail to [email protected].
