I agree it has ben great to be on cable.  We beta tested for our local
cable company three years ago and never looked back..... I dread using the
slow poke 56k's at work.  The $40 a month charge you have boasted about is
only available to residential service > To have cable at work for business
was more like $100 a month around here (probably out there too.)   |>)
 
One problem to be aware of is security.  All cable users are on one big =
LAN
network..... so everyone on the cable can see your computer.... and if you
do not have a secure front door you could be open to serious problems.  I
believe U-gate has built in security that will keep most non-hackers out.
