Just wait until the do it yourselfers have to replace their = 1st thermopile. Talk about a nightmare waiting to happen. Gas leaks are = going to be the order of the day. Gas stove designers have yet to fix this = little problem on most of their products and until they do it will not be as = simple as some customer tweaking pilot assemblies. That said, there will be a small percentage of people who will actually be able to do the service themselves and would not be willing to pay someone anyway so internet sales will probably pick those up. But the vast = majority of my customers would not be willing to do any service on the unit and = when it comes to gas.... Pat Martin
(back) Subject: EXPO Education in Baltimore From: "Sue Kalish" <[email protected]> Date: Wed, 8 Sep 1999 14:48:53 -0500 The recent HPA CEO Report listed the revised exhibit hours for Baltimore. Based on these changes in exhibit hours, the EXPO Education hours for Baltimore have also changed: Tuesday, March 14, 1 pm - 5 pm Wednesday, March 15, 8 am - Noon, 1 pm - 6:30 pm Thursday, March 16, 10 am - Noon, 1 pm - 6:30 pm Friday, March 17, 8 am - Noon Please note these dates on your calendars! With this schedule you should have time to balance education with the show floor. Tentatively scheduled as a kick-off to education Tuesday is a professional speaker who will talk about, "The Internet: Plaything or Real Channel to Market?" followed by a panel of hearth industry folks and someone who has done a lot of research on who buys from the Internet for a session entitled,: "Do or Die: The Effect of Internet on Your Hearth Business & Life." We have asked Craig to be on (or lead) the panel. Any suggestions for panelists (or the program) are welcome. Thanks. Sue Kalish, HPA
