I once distributed that product and they were sold by soem dealers and they could not keep them in stock. then you know....the gas products hit and .....     the owner contractor issue is repeated thousand of times in the country each building season. if there is a way to collect, as we all know how many more times we earn the check than we are ever able to collect...please let me know too.   [email protected]

I personally cannot smell anything from that stove. > Polly > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Nothing against any stove in particular but...... Polly but you never smell ANYTHING coming from a liquid fuel (gas/propane) unit. The burnt fuel has no smell. The only smell is the Mercaptin (sp?),a rotten eggy odor, in the RAW fuel. So that is why no one realizes that their air is full of CO, there is no warning smell!!! And not all CO Detectors are worth their salt in detection. Moisture in the air can set them off. (back) Subject: Letter From Africa From: [email protected] (Craig Issod) Date: Tue, 11 Aug 1998 10:01:39 -0400 (EDT)   Alright all you do-gooders on this list. We've spent a lot of time talking about making money, vent-frees, Majestic and all sorts of other subjects. One thing we have not spent a lot of time about is helping others with our experience. When I say "helping others", I'm talking about those who are really in need, not just your fellow industry members whose needs are often limited to how they can make a larger profit.   The email below appears to be from a party that can use the help of experts and consultants from our field. I would appreciate it if those " in the know" who are interested in helping would contact the party below at: [email protected]   Please limit your responses to resources that can really help, not just posts like "put a little furnace cement in the cracks".         Comments: Authenticated sender is <[email protected]> From: "Konditek" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Date: Thu, 4 Jun 1998 11:22:59 +0000 MIME-Version: 1.0 Subject: Coal stoves in South Africa Priority: normal   Hi My name is Christiaan Pauw. I work for the NOVA Foundation (a non-profit, non-governmental company that works for the upliftment of poverty in South Africa). We are doing a research on indoor air pollution in low income areas. In these areas, most people have coal stoves that they use for cooking and heating. These stoves are useally old and broken. The result in dangeroulsy high pollution levels inside the house. We are looking for ways to improve the situation: eg. better designs etc. I am looking for technical literature on the aerodynamics of stoves and chimneys as well as any useful ideas from an expert such as yourself. I am also looking for peolpe interested inthe same tipe of problem. I hope to hear from you soon   Sincerley My e-mail [email protected]   Craig Issod, Webmaster HearthNet at http://hearth.com Everything your Hearth Desires
