I am considering entering the vent-free product category in the Ohio market
soon.
In my "past life" as with a leading Fireplace Manufacturer I was active with
the Vent-Free Alliance of GAMA.  The major pitch was always "no deaths have
occurred from the use of properly installed vent-free products."  Does any
one know, is this still a true statement?  I have heard unconfirmed reports
that a month or so ago there was a death in Tupelo, Mississippi related to a
vent free fireplace or log set.  Can anyone confirm this? Details?  Thanks!
