(back) Subject: empire From: DJ Billard <[email protected]> Date: Sun, 26 Apr 1998 19:03:20 -0400 Since we were unable to attend , for the first time in 15 years the HPA show, we could use some input as to how the new Empire gas freestanding stoves looked. how did it compare to VC and HEATECH ,in terms of quality of flame, overall looks, and any other opinions are welcome. Has there been any problems with Empire as a company. Thank to those who responded to question about estimate fees. When i have more time i will revisit this issue.
(back) Subject: Agents required From: jim hinds <[email protected]> Date: Mon, 27 Apr 1998 11:47:29 -0400 Dear fellow stove dealers. We supply and distribute a range of cast iron mulifuel fired stove=92s throughout the United Kindom. Our research has indicated that the demand in the US for this type of appliance is very similar to the UK market. The writer will be visiting Kentucky within the next month or two with the intention of selecting a few retailers that would like to join in establishing a market for a traditional English designed cast iron stove. If you feel that it would be to our mutual benift please advise your interest. Regards Jim Hinds
(back) Subject: non-standard piping at Majestic? From: Craig Issod <[email protected]> Date: Mon, 27 Apr 1998 14:02:17 -0400 Am I seeing things, or has Vermont Castings changed their direcxt-vent pipe from the standard brand (DuraVent) to their own custom brand? The newest price lists shows a 4" by 7" pipe. If this is true, I surely hope they provide adapters to change to the standard brand. It would be very difficult for hearth dealers to stock multiple brands and fitting of pipe for each brand. Any info on the above by those in the know would be appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------ Craig Issod HearthNet at http://www.hearth.com [email protected] Everything your Hearth Desires ------------------------------------------------------ Buddha says "avoid error" ------------------------------------------------------
