Subject: Montego Fireplaces/   Parade/Model Discounts

  Locally, we have a Heating and Cooling Dealer that has started selling
Montego gas fireplaces. Does anybody have any information that they can
pass on regarding this line? I have tried the web, but have not found
much.
 
On a second note, as far as "Parade Discounts" (our Parade of Homes is
two weeks long), we have found that our local H&G Dealer is offering 50%
0ff. With some investigation, we find that the distributor is recieving
Model Home (permanent model) discounting from H&G. This has got us in a
little bit of a quandry, as their sister company, which we handle, does
not look at Parades as being Models. We also have a HVAC Contractor
offering Royal to the same customers. I am not sure that this Hearth
Technologies thing is a good thing. I guess that my question is this; In
general, what are typical guidelines with different manufacturers as far
as Parade vs. Model Home discounting?
