Rates 250 jobs according to six criteria: income, stress,
physical demands, potential growth, job security and work environment.
 
I was shocked to read that the top job was my current vocation:
 
(top ten listed)
1. Web site manager
2. Actuary
3. Computer Systems Analyst
4. Software engineer
5. Mathematician
6. Computer programmer
7. Accountant
8. Industrial engineer
9. Hospital administrator
10. Web developer
 
The article has some interesting reading...and, of course, these "Best of"
studies have to be taken lightly. For instance, carpentry is somewhere near
the bottom (237) and I really enjoyed that work (years ago).
 
Retail Salesperson is #207, but that's probably not figuring in a unique
industry like ours with family businesses.
 
President of the US, Firefighters, Roofers and such also score very poorly
on the list.
 
For you reps out there, Wholesale sales representative are #141..not too bad.
