Jensen, announced the intention of distributing Morso quality cast-iron stoves into North America beginning this year. In a joint effort with Valor Heating, Birmingham, UK, and Hearthlink International of Randolph, Vermont, Morso will begin to sell to an exclusive network of dealers. Hearthlink International will serve as the North American Home office. "We hope to get the word out that our Danish-manufactured cast iron stoves are reliable, simpler to install, simple to operate, and will last for years and years. In fact, we are so confident in our products that they come with a ten-year warranty." Mr. Jensen went on, "Our stoves are clean burning, environmentally-friendly. That is very important to us in Denmark. It is important that we make products which are top quality, easy to use, dependable, and improve the quality of life for those who buys a Morso product. They know the value of experience, and field support for all types of customers." Two non-catalytic stoves have recently passed EPA Emissions testing in Madison, Wisconsin. Other gas models are expected to follow the = woodburning stoves into the market. Started by C.A. Christensen in Nykobing, Denmark, Morso made quality cast iron parts for stoves, cookware, and other products right up to 1994 when their foundry closed down.
