Hearthlist Digest #422 - Monday, March 6, 2000 WebHeads Party in Baltimore by <[email protected]>
(back) Subject: WebHeads Party in Baltimore From: <[email protected]> Date: Mon, 6 Mar 2000 21:30:30 -0500 It has been a couple years since we had a WebHeads (Hearth Net / Hearth List) gathering at the HPA show. It is always interesting to see those vocal folks and put a face to them as well as meet the silent majority. I would like to suggest that we set up a WebHeads party for all of the typers and lurkers to meet and have a few beers and a pretzel or two. I know it is getting late to plan this but if there is interest we can put together a reasonable event. Post NOW. I have a suite available in the Sheraton on Wednesday evening that we can use or HPA has told me they can make arrangements to get us a small room on Wednesday evening in the convention center for all of us to meet. Wednesday sounds good. Not everyone will be in town but there wont be many parties overshadowing our time slot. I am sure, if we ask, we can probably even get a few manufacturers to chip in a couple dollars and maybe we can step up from a pretzel & a beer to poppers, mushrooms, and an ice statue >>>> well maybe we can add peanuts, chips and a dip. Any interest???? I already have my first donation from Craig Issod and HearthNet so we are on a roll. Craig has also promised to bring his guitar if encouraged by popular demand. I can't remember if it was 2 or 3 years ago, but I think Craig and a few old WebHeads made a few fine sounds over in the corner at the last party. Post and let me know if this sound like a good idea for those who be in town on Wednesday.
