Hearthlist Digest #263 - Friday, February 5, 1999 BBQ Grills by "Stoveworks" <[email protected]>
(back) Subject: BBQ Grills From: Stoveworks <[email protected]> (by way of Craig Issod) Date: Thu, 4 Feb 1999 22:30:06 -0400 Dear Fellow Dealers: Our store carried the Ducane line for many years. It was a pretty solid product with good demand. It seems now that there are "National Programs" in place that allow local hardware stores (ie ACE, etc.) to purchase at levels better than our best wholesale price. Obviously, it makes no sense to try and compete with "locals" who can benefit from the big "corporate purchasing powers". We're dropping the Ducane line completely and looking for a quality and serviceable product in the $500 to $600 range (of course with comparable features to the Ducane with lifetime warranty). We also handle Big Green Eggs, DCS and Vermont Castings. We would appreciate any ideas or suggestions.
