(back) Subject: Pellet Stove From: mojackper <[email protected]> (by way of Craig Issod) Date: Sun, 18 Jan 1998 21:27:20 -0400 Could someone either email the list with this info...or contact this guy directly if you know of parts and/or service availability. --start quote Please help! I have a Winston Pellet Stove which was manufactured in 1991 that I am experiencing some problems (thermostat and blower). The dealer who sold me the stove is no longer in business, and I've been searching the web unsuccessfully to see if Winstove Stove Company even exists. Do you by chance know if this Chino, California company is still in business, and if so where (or better yet a phone #)?. If they are out of business, any suggestions as to how I should seek service? Thanks for any help you may be able to provide! Even if HearthNet is not making a million for me, it's nice to know that some people are receiving useful..and maybe even priceless information from our forums. ---quote starts___ Hi Craig, I really appreciate your site. Great information. I used your site last winter as I installed a wood stove for the first time. I assumed at the time, that it would supplement my oil furnace. I live in Ontario and was recently without hydro for 7 days. The wood stove did not only supplement but took over the job of heating my house. Had it not been for heating with wood, my daughter and I would have been forced to find shelter elsewhere. Keep up the great work on your site...and thanks! We don't buy by the pallet, though. That way we don't have to take the broken ones. There is no price break here for pallet price.
