Setting up the Neo 2.5 to burn air from outside the house

OUTSIDE AIR SUPPLIED FROM VENTILATED CRAWLSPACE

Locate the 4" round air intake knockout plate at the extreme rear of the underside of the ash box enclosure, just inside the right leg.  Insert a length of 4" rigid or flexible aluminum intake pipe which extends down through a 4-1/8" hole in the floor, terminating below the floor joists and insulation. Caulk around the intake pipe where it penetrates the floor and silicone cement a piece of 1/4" wire rodent mesh to the bottom.

Locate the 4" round air intake knockout plate at the extreme rear of the underside of the ash box enclosure, just inside the right leg.  Insert a length of 4" rigid or flexible aluminum intake pipe and elbow back through a 4-1/8" hole in the outside wall behind the stove. Attach a standard 4" dryer vent termination on the outside of the wall, removing the flapper plate and substituting a piece of 1/4" rodent mesh silicone-cemented in place.
