OUTSIDE AIR SUPPLIED FROM VENTILATED CRAWLSPACEInsert a length of 4" rigid or flexible aluminum intake pipe into the knockout hole in the bottom of the air plenum and extend it down through a 4-1/8" hole in the floor, terminating below the floor insulation. Caulk around the intake pipe and use silicone cement to glue a piece of 1/4" wire rodent mesh to the bottom. | OUTSIDE AIR SUPPLIED THROUGH BACKWALLInsert a length of 4" rigid or flexible aluminum pipe into the knockout hole in the bottom of the air plenum and elbow back through a 4-1/8" hole in the outside wall behind the stove. Attach a 4" dryer vent termination on the outside of the wall, removing the flapper and substituting a piece of 1/4" rodent mesh cemented in place. |
