Other than knowing they dish out more heat than "regular" baseboards, I'm not finding a good source to compare performance numbers and costs. Why do they work better? More fins?
 
There is another low temperature fin tube brand being manufactured in Canada also, the name escapes me. The fin size and spacing is the main difference, more fins, more surface area and higher convection output are the key.
 
As I recall, I would've gone with Heating Edge, by Smith's Environmental. It's in the thread above.
 
Thanks guys, I've been studying all your suggestions and the other post as well.
I have one run where I will need a double row of pipe within the board so I can return the run.
 
I've looked at a few different manufactuers. Can we start a list of what you have or installed with your thoughts? I want to make the right choice. I want to take out the old baseboard and replace with rads.

Have you looked at the "Biomass-hydronics-training.pdf" that is 'stickied' at the top of the boiler forum? There are a bunch of low temp radiators on pages 117 to 121.
