Likes: this little stove rocks. within a short period of time right after lighting, you get a substantial output and it warms up the room that it is in quickly. This works well for my install being that the dinig room is adjacent to the living room and both rooms heat up very quickly. heat output os somewhere in the 42000 btu range and runing this stove all day and night heats up this size house OK. I have given thougt to cutting registers in to get the heat upstairs better, but have changed my mind.
Dislikes: No doubt the castine would have been a better fit for the size of the house but couldn't afford at the time. The firebox on the Jotul F3CB is small and therefore burn times are a little shorter, but still have coals in the morning to restart off of even after 7 hours.
