Likes: looks great, tons of heat

Dislikes: huge viewing window is slightly clouded- most likely from a small amount of moisture in the wood.

Comments: Put three rounds of yellow pine in at 11:00pm,moderate wind, clear skies, and cold temp this morning at 10 degrees. Dampered down all night,a huge bed of coals awaited us at 8:30 this morning. Our home only got down to 68.We opted for the fresh combustion air draw-even with the legs you can't see the tube unless you look directly behinde the unit.So far we have kept the heater dampered down all day once a nice bed of coals is established. We have a 1400sq' two story home. Our floor plan is open. During the day our home is about 75 degrees(with no blower) even up stairs thanks to our celing fan on it's lowest setting, again, we have an open floor plan.It seems that the fresh air draw was a good decision being that we have vinyl windows, tight doors, and new insullation in our attic space(two years old now). The fire does not have to struggle for air to burn efficently wich in turn lets the heater work in it's maximum efficency-tons of heat and a great fire to watch. Now with the wood stove working so well we will use our forced air as a default heater.Wich in turn will reduce our propane consumption dramaticly, wich in turn will reduce our propane bill dramaticly . My family hopes this is helpful, and this unit works well for you too!
