Likes: Will make a good anchor if the house ever floats away in a flood.
Dislikes: Everything! It does not provide any heat unless you sit within a foot of the firplace. It's loud,very smokey and is a fire just waiting to happen. Service from both the dealer and manufacturer does not exist. We were told by the dealer(after the system was installed) that we should not expect this system to actually provide heat.
The manufacturer told us "it's your problem" and will not work with us at all.
Comments: When the stove was first professionally installed we called both the dealer and manufacturer to express our concerns. The "customer service" manager yelled at me over the phone, then was not truthful,and refused to return my calls. After many phone calls and multiple faxes. He was going to come out to show us "how to build a fire" since we obviously don't know how according to him. What a joke! We are now stuck with this junk. Please do not buy from Vermont Castings or Offenbacher's.
