Likes: Excellent heat output. Excellent controls. Long burn times on high, medium or low controls, but especially on low for overnight burns. Loaded the stove burns fir & pine for 24-36 hours quite easily. Burns all types of seasoned wood very well. Built very solid with heavy gauge steel. Only dry powder creosote residue in steel chimney after 7+ mths of use which was so easy to clean compared to my old RSF stove. HUGE difference despite similar burning operations. Catalytic heater works very well after stove is started up to a high heat burn and then control moved to low. Manual well written.

Dislikes: Expensive for us.

Comments: HIGHLY recommended. House is much warmer than with old RSF stove and the indoor temperature is steady all winter. House has good insulation and seals too. Might one day try to install cold outside air draw, but I do have a fresh air near the stove, just not connected to it. I do not have the optional fan attachment. I also do ALLOT of cooking on the stove, boiling anything including long grain rice @ 40 mins, to various beans from dry state, even making stir fry's. Hot water is always ready in 2 kettles and so propane or electric use for heating water for beverages is zero during stove use. I use more propane in a few months in summer for cooking, than the 7+ mths of stove use. I hope to figure out how to bake on top of it.
