Likes: nice window wash and view. ease of use.
Dislikes: length of burn is 4-6 hours of real heat, need to feed during night to have burn or any heat in morning. stove isn't big enough to stuff more than three good size pieces of wood.
Comments: came from vermont casting vigilant stove. that was a work horse top loader that you can stuff with wood. Avalon is pretty stove that heats, but heat time is fraction of stated value (kind of like new car gas milege)
