Pellet stove hooked into Central Heating System - in general, such installations can be dangerous, possibly sucking smoke or dangerous gases into the central duct system along with heat!

The hooking up of jerry rigged installations to central heating systems is not suggested. Code also requires any heating return duct to be a certain distance from any solid fuel appliances!

The duct above such an installation can pull smoke and gases to the home living area!

nice looking installation - but the required hearth protection in front...and possibly to the side....is not installed. A Hearth Rug is not consider adequate!
Most stoves require 18" to 20" in front of loading doors!

Stove is not hooked up yet, but hearth in front certainly does not look big enough...even if stove is moved back!
